In order to detect the need for professionals in the field ofForestry, the Technological University of Panama, through the Faculty of Science and Technology asked for their support, to answer the following survey.

Description of the career:

In the race of Forestry Engineering trains students in all the processes involved in the management of different forest types, enabling them to contribute to the development, managementand protection of the country's natural resources such as forests, biodiversity, soil , watersheds and wildlife. In addition, to have theability to plan and implement development plans relating toforestry and agroforestry and are suitable to foster and develop the forestry sector, managing companies and other institutionsrelated to the sector and the preservation of national and regionalenvironment.

The curriculum of the Faculty of Science and Technology isproposing involves a combination of courses and workshops that will provide the graduate skills of the race to work in the field of forestry in the management and conservation of forests and soilsas well as sufficient knowledge as to the mechanical, physicaland chemical properties of wood that will allow you to adapt and transfer technology for processing it.

EXECUTIVE BILINGUAL COMMUNICATION

1. Description
Bachelor's career Bilingual Executive Communication is the formation of a professional with a solid linguistic culture in both Spanish and English, with an academic profile based on modern advances in technology.
The thematic content of the various subjects of the curriculum will give you the opportunity to enrich their knowledge and skills that will lead to the formation of a full professional with extensive technical-scientific and humanistic.
2. Admission Profile
To enter the race, the candidate must hold a high school diploma issued by an official or private school joined the Ministry of Education, or unincorporated associations or foreign, provided that the duration of such studies is not less than five (5) years at the secondary level and are recognized by the Ministry of Education.
3. Entry Requirements
The admissions requirements for freshmen and students who have studied at a higher level are:
Freshmen:
Approve admission tests: Scholastic Aptitude Test (PAA).To present the diagnostic test of English proficiency (Elasha).Take and pass Basic Mathematics course and academic and professional skills.Comply with the requirements of the Seminar on Introduction to University Life.Students who have studied at higher level (national or foreign universities):
Request the revenue recognition through a letter to the Secretary General of the Technological University of Panama (see Requirements for the Validation of Credit Processing).Apply for revalidation until 30 days before the registration period.Documents that will deliver the student to enroll:
Two (2) copies of the card (both sides) or birth certificate if not of legal age.Two (2) copies of high school diploma (must bring the original copies to confront).Original and copy of high school credits (from 7 ° to 12 ° year)Two (2) passport size photos.Two (2) copies of Certificate of Honorable Mention you are a student grant from the Technological University of Panama.Important Note: These documents are delivered to the Academic Secretary of the Faculty of Science and Technology.
4. Graduate Profile
According to their training these professionals is trained (a) primarily to support the management of management, headquarters departments, private companies and institutions, both nationally and internationally with a strong linguistic culture in both Spanish and English; extensive knowledge of the issues, scientific, technical and humanistic their greater vision for the development of executive activities of management, and an academic profile that is based on modern advances in technology.

The approximate cost of the career of Bilingual Executive Bachelor Communication is B /. 334.90.
Note: These costs only cover tuition, diploma and graduate academic records. Not contemplate graduate work which is chosen by the student from several options once you complete the curriculum subjects (Thesis, Professional Practice, Graduate Materials). Do not include expenses for graduation and do not include the costs of diploma and graduate academic record of the plans that have intermediate technical title.
6. Labor Field
This professional will be able to work professionally at the executive level in business or public or private institutions, ministries, embassies, tourist agencies, customs, hotels, business services, healthcare, banks and financial institutions, airlines, commercial offices, among other.

This race has a duration of three and half years (7 semesters)

PATRIOTIC DAYS IN THE UTP

As part of the celebration of patriotic anniversaries Technological University of Panama has taken part in the parades held in the city of David.

From 8.00am on 3 and 4 November kicked off the parade activities starting on time and with the participation of state offices, public and private schools in the province.

Honor Student Chapter paid tribute to the country, proudly representing this university and its various faculties.

The best perform of night was the Science and TEChnology Faculty  with  BEYONCE -MOVE YOUR BODY and the winners of the night. 

The system faculty perform to JLO and they did it very well but unfourtunally JLO was too fat for  be JLO so they had the third position in the imitation

The last October 22 the novatadas in the UTP started with the "juegos bufos", where the Faculty of civil engineer win this competion, unfortunally my Facutly of science and technology lose but we enjoy that activity. We star playing around of 9 o clock and we finish late in the night. Some things that I need to say because I was one of the judges and is that theorganization was terrible and some games were very difficult to explained it. I considder to the organization will be better the next time!

Last September 28th we had a conversatorium by proffesors's Luz Rios an activity full of emotion and it was our first experience working in an event like this so, we start early preparing everuuthing for our guests we had the opportunity to have had three expositors Ms. Liliana Pinedo, Mr. Dimas Lidio Pitty and Mr. Manuel Montilla, who carried out this activity and also some students from Felix Olivares Contreras, our coordinator proffessor Juan Del Cid.

Field Trip to Bocas Del Toro

It is difficult to express in a few words what you can feel when you visit the Bocas Del Toro.Only some places around the world keep this particular atmosphere, seductive, primitive and unforgettable.
Bocas Del Toro captivates its visitors because of its amazing vegetation, its biodiversity, and its ancient’s customs: it is a real biological fantasy…

In ecology we had the opportunity to visit that beautiful province visiting different places for example:

1.   The Dolphin Bay:

It is a place where you can see the dolphin’s pico de botella.

2.   The sea’s stars: it is a mangle in the sea where we can see a lot of this

3.   Coral cay: it is a place where you can do snorkel and see the beauty of the marine environment

4.   Red Frog Beach: is the only place where we can see the real red frogs in the entire world. And enjoy the besides the white sand beach with its crystal water.

5.   Isla Colon: it is a beautiful town situated on the sea where you find hotels, night clubs and gorgeous persons.

The most important of this trip was share with our colleagues and especially to raise awareness about caring for marine life and endangered species like the pico de botella dolphin, red frog and sloth.

CONFERENCE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND HUMAN RIGHTS: This conference allowed us to learn about Panama's relationship with other countries and what are human rights and how in some parts of the world these rights are not respected.

The conference was coordinated by the girls in the fourth year of Executive Bilingual Communication and give us the opportunity to know the protocol and how to treat guests in an event like this.

All related to communication in Spanish and English.

My main goal rigth now is be an excellent bilingual communicator and work as my carrier, HELP TO MY PARENTS because they give me all that I need and I know that, I have give back everything, I would like to start to work or may be go to another country for work and study something different like international bussiness or and engineer, visit some countries like England, China, Canada, places where I can learn about trade, culture and specially communicate! because as communicator our main objective is give a message to the world.

My Family is the best ! it is very difficult say all what I feel when I talk of my family cause there isn't words to express everything, specially my parents, all that they have done to help my brother and me and get ahead.
I have two beautiful nieces and they are Alanys ans Astrid they are the princess of the house my relation with them is really crazy because they love me but i alwas make jokes and we dance, going to parties and the cinema.
